Remade in Portugal is a project that aims to encourage the creation and development of products made with formed by at least 50 % of recycled materials. This recycling process is two-pronged: pre and post consumption.
Pre consumption means the recycling of industrial waste which is usually assumed carried out within the scope of the by the industry itself; post consumption means the recycling of packages, and household waste recovered from recycling containers.
This project is materialised in periodical exhibitions, in both in Portugal and abroad, with a view to disclosing the eco-design and sustainable development culture.the goal to promote a culture of eco-design and sustainable development.
SPAL is the brand that has participated the most in this project, having joined been part of the many of the editions since 2007.
